England Directory of Holistic Resources to be an
easy-to-use resource for the New England
holistic community. We are at a time where
we are seeking information on living a
healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life.
I hope this Directory will provide you with some
of your answers. I want this Directory to
also open new doors and understanding to the
holistic lifestyle.
The founder has a background is in computer
consulting / programming, and has always felt a
deep connection with nature.
In 1998 started
Mystic Naturals, selling my all-natural
line of bath & body products, herbal tea blends
and bulk herbs. she was amazed at how
hungry people are for more information about
living a holistic lifestyle. Thus came
the 'seed' to create The Directory. She
wanted to help people find the answers to what
they are seeking; whether relating to the mind,
body or spirit. From seeing the member's
and user's comments, the amount of hits the
Directory is receiving, press releases and
articles, I believe that 'seed' has sprouted
and is growing into a tree of knowledge.
There are a couple of
things about the Directory that I would like to
explain the logic behind. The
articles are posted
in the order I receive them rather than by
subject. I want the articles to be read
for what they are instead of by category - this
will open new doors, new understandings and new
directions. I have also not broken the
Directory listings
down by state. I didn't want someone to
limit themselves to looking in the Connecticut
section if they are from Connecticut when
someone in Massachusetts may provide a perfect
match for what they are seeking. I feel these
points make the Directory more holistic (whole)
in nature.
It is also important to me
that everyone feels a part of the Directory.
